Good morning, Broncos Country.

In a few days, the Denver Broncos will take on the San Francisco 49ers in their first preseason game. There are no big updates of note regarding the team this morning, as yesterday was a travel day with the Broncos enroute to the Bay Area for Saturday evening’s festivities. It’s been a long wait and offseason, but we are less than 72 hours away from Broncos’ football officially being back.

Coming off a 10-win campaign and their first playoff berth in ages, renewed optimism has spread across Broncos Country to a significant degree. The energy, passion, and enthusiasm are palpable. Even the national media is getting on the fun, with various outlets and analysts hyping up the potential of the 2025 Broncos squad.

I’m right there with them and I’m sure a lot of you are as well. Something just feels different about this year’s team, doesn’t it? I believe the Broncos are poised to make an impact and shake up the National Football League. There are numerous reasons why.

The is no doubt the franchise has a lot of things going for them. The new ownership has been incredible. Not only that, but the front office that has done a tremendous job reforging the team in just a few seasons alongside Head Coach Sean Payton. The continuity among the coaching staff will be a big boon for the team’s ‘25 endeavors. Bringing back every key starter and backup along their offensive and defensive lines will make a huge difference too. There’s good reason to be bullish on quarterback Bo Nix, who I believe will continue his ascent to one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and avoid the dreaded sophomore slump.

If the new additions on both sides of the ball pan out as hoped and the team stays healthy, Denver could wind up being one of the most well-rounded teams in all of football. What do you think? Are you ready for some Broncos football? I know I am. Let me know how you are feeling about the team heading into the preseason.

As always, thank you for reading. Here is today’s slate of articles for Horse Tracks.
