Antonio Brown does not want to face punishment.

Ten years ago, Brown was at the top of the NFL world as a former sixth-round pick who had turned himself into arguably the best receiver in football.

These days, he has become an internet troll and a wanted fugitive from justice. The ex-Steelers star has seen his behavior become increasingly erratic over the years, both in real life and on social media.

In June, he faced a warrant for his arrest on an attempted murder charge.

Brown became the subject of these charges following an incident at a celebrity boxing match in Miami, where he initially claimed he “was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me.”

It was alleged that Antonio Brown stole a firearm from a security guard, chased one of the men in question down, and fired the gun two times in their direction.

It has been almost two months since Antonio Brown was charged with attempted murder in Miami, and he has yet to turn himself in to authorities.

Brown is reportedly refusing to return to the United States to face charges.

When asked last month if Brown had turned himself in, if the department was aware of his current location, or if it was facilitating his surrender, a member of the Miami Police Department’s Public Information Office told Times Union, “We are not commenting on this active investigation at this time.”

Antonio Brown Is Facing Years In Prison

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown faces a charge of attempted murder with a firearm based on a shooting Brown was allegedly involved in during a celebrity boxing event in Miami.

Brown was seen fighting with several people on a video posted to social media, and gunshots could clearly be heard after the altercation.

According to reports, the warrant also instructs Brown to post a $10,000 bond and remain under house arrest until trial.

He has yet to even turn himself in.

This charge will not go away, so once he does return to the United States, he will be facing the possibility of spending years in prison.
