In addition, former Seattle cornerback Tre Flowers has landed with the Bears.

It’s been a busy day for a few former members of the Seattle Seahawks’ defense.

According to a report from Seattle Sports and later confirmed in the NFL transaction wire, safety K’Von Wallace has signed with the New York Giants. Prior to officially agreeing to terms with the Giants on Tuesday, Wallace tried out for the team during minicamp.

Wallace came to the Seahawks in early 2024, being one of the first players the team added in free agency after hiring head coach Mike Macdonald. He appeared in nine games for Seattle last season before landing on injured reserve with an ankle injury. Up through the Seahawks’ Week 9 loss against the Los Angeles Rams, Wallace had 15 tackles and forced one fumble before being placed on IR.

The Giants already have former Seahawks defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris, offensive tackle Stone Forysthe, and quarterback Russell Wilson on the roster, so they’ve been busy adding ex-Seahawks to the squad during their latest roster rebuild.

Meanwhile, Tre Flowers has been signed by the Chicago Bears, as reported by the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs. Flowers was initially drafted by Seattle in 2018, playing for the team as a starting corner through 2021. During his time in the Pacific Northwest, Flowers recorded 212 tackles, forced five fumbles, and hauled in three interceptions over 47 games. He’s since bounced around the league and was most recently with the Indianapolis Colts practice squad.

The NFL transaction wire also revealed that former Seahawks offensive lineman George Fant visited with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ex-Seahawks tight end Tyler Mabry signed with the Carolina Panthers, and the Las Vegas Raiders added former Seahawks JT Woods, Philip Dorsett, and a certain Jamal Adams. Pete Carroll’s team also brought in defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson for a visit.
