Field Gulls
There’s a new podcast venture Field Gulls is proud to be a part of, and hopefully you’ll also love it!
As you probably know by now, I was in Renton and Seattle to cover two Seattle Seahawks training camp practices, but unlike last year, it was collaborative. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with Field Gulls staffer and podcaster Bryce Coutts, former Field Gulls Podcast host and current Seahawks Forever podcast host Dan Viens, and The Hawks Nest podcast host Brandon Cain. We not only had post-practice videos, we also had a couple of live shows at Fast Fashion Brewery in SoDo, with Seahawks beat writer and Emerald City Spectrum founder Corbin Smith joining as a guest before Football Fan Fest at Lumen Field.
This was extremely fun and our chemistry was seamless even though we’d never all done a show together. We thank everyone who tuned in online and to those we actually met in-person at Fast Fashion, VMAC, or Lumen Field. Based on the great praise in the comments sections of our live shows and practice recaps, we’re going to make this a regular feature.

Having Seahawks content creators is not only beneficial to the fanbase, but it’s extremely important that we’re supportive of each other, which is what I love most about this venture.
The Seahawks Syndicate will go live on the final Wednesday of each month, starting on Aug. 27 at 5 pm PT. You can tune in for our reaction and analysis to Seahawks roster cuts, the initial 53-man roster, and any practice squad news. We aim to be interactive and respond to reader questions and comments in the YouTube and Twitter live chats, plus I’ll keep an eye on anything you have to say in the Field Gulls comments section.
These videos will be live streamed on “host” channels each month, aka one of Dan, Brandon, or Bryce’s YouTube channels, and they’ll also be broadcast right here on Field Gulls. Unlike in August, we’ll be in our home set-ups, but going back to Seattle to do something special within the season has been explored and we’ll see if everything aligns in our favor.
