FOX revealed that Adam Amin (play-by-play), Mark Sanchez (color) and Kristina Pink (sideline) will have the call for the Steelers-Seahawks game on Sunday. The crew, which is FOX’s third team, called the Titans-Broncos game in Week 1.
Sunday’s game is the only scheduled FOX game for the Steelers in 2025. Week 18 against the Baltimore Ravens is to be determined. It’s network and time slot will be announced the week prior.
At DraftKings Sportsbook, the Steelers opened as 3-point favorites over the Seahawks for their Week 2 meeting at Acrisure Stadium. The Steelers are -155 on the money line, compared to +130 for the Seahawks. The over/under is set at 40.5 points.
The Steelers failed to cover the three-point spread in their 34-32 win over the New York Jets on Sunday. The game also went way over the 38-point over/under total, as the Steelers and Jets racked up a total of 66 points.
The Seahawks are coming off a 17-13 home loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1. San Francisco did not cover the 1.5-point spread against Seattle. The over/under for total points scored did not reach the 43 mark, either.
Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf will get a crack at his former team in the Steelers’ home opener on Sunday. Metcalf had six great years with the Seahawks, but he did express frustration with the coaching staff about his usage in 2024. Metcalf openly expressed a desire to move on from the Seahawks, citing a feeling of being an outsider in the locker room.
Metcalf formally requested a trade from the Seahawks on March 5. He was traded to the Steelers just four days later.
As part of the deal, Pittsburgh also gave Metcalf a massive five-year, $150 million contract.
Metcalf turned heads in his Steelers debut on Sunday, recording four receptions for a team-high 83 yards (20.8 average). Of his 83 yards receiving, 68 yards came after the catch. He also had a key 11-yard grab on the Steelers’ drive late in the fourth quarter to set up the 60-yard game-winning field goal for Chris Boswell.
