...Did the trailer editors think the Seahawks still had Jamal Adams on the team?
The first trailer for Madden NFL 26 was released on Wednesday, with a lot of emphasis that this year’s edition is “Made From Sundays.” That means real schemes, real traditions (does this mean some 12 flag raises?), and real weather in which virtual players can slip and fall like their real-life counterparts do!
If you haven’t watched the trailer yet, the Seattle Seahawks do make an appearance in the form of someone wearing No. 33 jumping over sliding Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray in intense Seattle rainfall. You can see the brief clip at about :55.
Now... who the hell is this guy?!
No. 33 is not Jamal Adams, although I do not completely rule out the developers and people who made the trailer would make this error. A quick look of the current Seahawks roster says this is cornerback Tyler Hall, who’s never played for the Seahawks but did end the previous season on the practice squad and has since signed a reserve/future deal.
It’s unlikely that Tyler Hall was worthy of a face scan in the game but I guess he can tell everyone that he successfully avoided the looming 15-yard penalty that was about to happen had he made contact to Murray’s head as he slid.
Madden 26 releases on Aug. 14. We close out this “It’s June” article with a poll for you to decide on something.
