An old video of Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni making catches as a college wide receiver is going viral following his Super Bowl win with the NFC team.

Sirianni landed his first head coaching job with the Eagles in 2021 after a stint as the offensive coordinator with the Indianapolis Colts. He has since led them to two Super Bowls, one of which he won earlier this month.

This may come as a surprise to you, but the 43-year-old spent several years with the Kansas City Chiefs, working in various coaching roles, including wide receivers coach. Turns out he knows a thing or two about catching as he used to be a wideout himself.

Nick Sirianni Was That Guy

The Eagles HC played his college football with Mount Union in Division III and won three national titles with the program. He recorded an impressive receiving 998 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior in 2003.

A clip of his old highlights has been doing the rounds on social media this Tuesday, and folks are freaking out over it.

Check it out below:

Some fans were surprised at the fact that Nick Sirianni was a WR to begin with, while others were shocked to learn his height. Others pointed out he had a similar build to Eagles star DeVonta Smith.

“Sirianni being a wide receiver in high school explains everything about him lol; and I love it!” a user exclaimed.
