ESPN revealed on Tuesday that all three of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ preseason games will be aired live on NFL Network. This is the second time in three years that the Steelers will have a national broadcast for all three preseason games. It also occurred in 2024.
The Steelers will play the Green Bay Packers on Aug. 13, New York Jets on Aug. 21 and at the Buffalo Bills on Aug.27. All three games are at 7 p.m.
Aaron Rodgers will get a chance to reunite with both of his former teams in the preseason. Surely, the 42-year-old quarterback will not be active for those contests, however. The Green Bay game will also be a reunion for Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy.
The last time the Steelers played the Packers in the preseason was in 2018. It will be the first time the Steelers host the Packers in the preseason since 2015.
The Steelers haven’t played the Jets in the preseason since 2002. The two teams were scheduled to play in 2020, but the entire preseason was cancelled due to COVID-19. The Steelers-Jets game will also take place at Acrisure Stadium.
The Steelers and Bills have regularly met in the regular season and in the preseason in recent years. The Steelers played the Bills in the preseason in 2023 and 2024. The Steelers and Bills had a joint practice in 2024, as well.
With playing in the preseason, the Steelers will get a chance to play in Buffalo’s new Highmark Stadium.
