The Buffalo Bills will face an opponent with wins to their ledger for the first time in this young NFL season. It’s an interesting stat, seeing how even the Baltimore Ravens were 0-0 in Week 1, and now seemingly in a free-fall mode as a plague of injuries catches up to poor defensive efforts. The Bills had to overcome teams desperate for a first win, but that no longer applies come Sunday evening.
Buffalo’s opponent this weekend, the 2-2 New England Patriots, isn’t reeling, rather surging in some respects. The AFC East is wide open beyond the Bills’ healthy lead. However, if Buffalo were to lose on Sunday, they’d drop to 4-1, while New England would improve to 3-2. That would leave the Patriots just a half game behind the Bills in the division.
So what may have felt like a huge game against the Ravens to open the season seems to pale in comparison to what’s at stake in Week 5. But the Bills got this, right? Well, we got you, for certain.
This is Buffalo’s final matchup in a rare three-game homestand, and the weather couldn’t be better tonight for Bills Mafia! It’s also the inaugural game for the NFL/Nike Rivals uniforms, which of course means whiteout conditions at Highmark Stadium.
To keep up with all of Buffalo Rumblings’ Bills-Patriots content, we’ve put together this post to serve as your guidebook in-game and during the hours and days following Buffalo’s latest game at Highmark Stadium.
