Isn’t it funny to think that training camp began with questions of whether or not Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts even liked each other? Fast forward to late January:
HIGH PRAISE: #Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni had extremely high praise for his quarterback Jalen Hurts.
“How about our quarterback. He’s a stud. I knew he was going to play that way. I knew it. Don’t doubt him! All he does is win!”

The national media is going to be in shambles for the next two weeks. The Eagles won and the much-maligned passing game looked great. Jalen Hurts – 20 for 28, 246 yards, one touchdown, no interceptions. A.J. Brown – six receptions for 96 yards and a score. Dallas Goedert – seven for 85. DeVonta Smith – four for 45. Throw in a couple of dump offs and that gets you close to 250 on the evening.
Those stats, by the way, compiled while the Eagles also ran for 229 yards and seven touchdowns. The talking heads are gonna have to find a new slant. They’ll have to find something else to get their grubby fake news mitts on.
We’ve come a long way in half a year:
