The Philadelphia Eagles are the team to beat in the NFL.

However, if history has taught us anything, it is that perception doesn’t win football games.

That’s why A.J. Brown knows his team is back at square one this season.

Asked about the Vince Lombardi Trophy, the defending Super Bowl champion had a candid response.

“She’s not loyal,” Brown said, via B/R Gridiron and SiriusXM NFL.

It isn't yours, it's just your turn.

Brown admitted that he found more joy in being a hunter, so he got back to work almost immediately after the championship parade.

That’s the type of mindset so many teams and players fail to adopt once they win a championship.

That’s what made Tom Brady and Michael Jordan so different from their peers, as they know that it’s never about what you’ve done in the past, it’s about what you can do this year.

The biggest competitors don’t settle for looking back or feeling satisfied once they’ve accomplished one of their goals.

They want to keep pushing and setting the bar higher, not only for everybody else but also for themselves.

Now, the Eagles have everything they need to get back to the Super Bowl, and Brown should continue to be considered one of the best wide receivers in the league.

They will have to get the job done just like everybody else, as there are no handouts in the NFL.
