While A.J. Brown hasn’t been heavily involved in the passing game this season, the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver is still one of the best players in the NFL.

As such, he is an authorized voice to talk about the best cornerbacks in the game.

Asked about that, he couldn’t come up with five players, but did tip his hat to four stars at the position.

“My No. 1 corner in the league right now is [Patrick Surtain II]. I’m excited for that matchup. I have to go Jalen Ramsey, still considered one of the best in this league. I have to throw my young guy in, Quinyon [Mitchell]. I truly feel like he’s taken another step. [Derek Stingley Jr.] from Houston. I don’t really have a five,” Brown said.

I asked #Eagles WR AJ Brown for his top cornerbacks in the NFL.

The list was … and his No. 1?

Surtain should be at the top of any list right now.

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year dominates in man-to-man coverage for the Denver Broncos and controls even the most dangerous wide receivers, which he will try to do against Brown in Week 5.

Ramsey, now with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has proven that he’s still one of the best in the game.

That’s why the Steelers traded for him, and he proved to be worth that risk with a game-winning pass breakup in Week 1.

Eagles teammate Mitchell didn’t need much time to prove that he’s a star, and Brown saw him help them win a Super Bowl last season as a rookie.

Stingley proved that the Houston Texans made the right call in the 2022 NFL Draft when they took him with the No. 3 selection, one pick before Sauce Gardner went to the New York Jets.
