Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, a master in the art of acting like a diva wide receiver, has uncorked one of the most classic moves in the disgruntled pass catcher playbook, as he took to social media to share a cryptic quote.

Following the Philadelphia Eagles win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday to improve to 4-0 on the season, A.J. Brown — who had two catches for seven yards on nine targets — took to social media to post a predictably cryptic message by sharing a quote from the Bible.

“If you’re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way,” Brown’s tweet read.

This certainly isn’t the first time that Brown has publicly expressed frustration with his role in the Eagles’ offense, as he famously was seen reading a book on the sidelines during a regular season game last year. The Eagles went on to win the Super Bowl, however.

To put Brown’s slow start to the season into perspective: he has had 14 catches through four games, while Los Angeles Rams star pass catcher Puka Nacua had 13 catches against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday alone.

If it makes Brown feel any better, it’s not as though the Eagles’ offense has been particularly explosive elsewhere, as quarterback Jalen Hurts did not complete a single pass against the Bucs in the second half (0-for-8).

Brown and the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles will look to continue their unbeaten start to the 2025 season in Week 5 when they host the Denver Broncos on Sunday, October 5. Look for the Eagles to try and force feed Brown early and often in that game.
