The Chargers beat the Broncos, so the Bills’ potential opponent has shifted.
Week 16 opened on Thursday night with a matchup of two likely AFC playoff teams. The Buffalo Bills were surely watching.
The Los Angeles Chargers beat the Denver Broncos to tie them in overall record and ultimately pass them based on the head-to-head tiebreaker. The Broncos are now in seventh place while the Chargers move up to sixth.
If the current standings hold, the Bills as the second seed would host those Broncos and rookie QB Bo Nix. There is still a lot of football to be played.
Speaking of which, there are two huge games on Saturday. We will update the playoff picture then, as well.
