The Buffalo Bills knocked the Kansas City Chiefs out of playoff position by beating them on Sunday. One way to not lost to Kansas City in the postseason is to try and make sure they don’t get there, and Buffalo came through on Sunday with a convincing win.

Unfortunately for Buffalo, the New England Patriots also won and they remain atop the AFC East and tied for the best record in the conference. Joining New England atop the conference is the Denver Broncos. The Indianapolis Colts lost their game but remain in first place thanks to tiebreaker wins.

Buffalo is a half-game back of that trio.

The Pittsburgh Steelers also won on Sunday and remain in first place in the AFC North, two games up on Bthe Baltimore Ravens.

Elsewhere in the wild card race, the Los Angeles Chargers won to get to 6-3 and the Jacksonville Jaguars won to get to 5-3, both passing the Chiefs.

In the wild card race, the Bills are tops followed by the L.A. Chargers, who also won on Sunday along with the Jaguars.
