• Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa on the 2025 season so far: “Definitely not happy, not proud of where i’m at with my play, with how I’ve gone about things this year. • Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said this is going to be an “important work week” for a few players this coming week: “If you are negatively impacting the team routinely, I have no choice but to assess a different player — and I have to coach a lot better, as well.” (Louis-Jacques)
• McDaniel reflected on his postgame conversation with owner Stephen Ross, which they have after every game: “There was a lot to talk about within that particular game … Definitely didn’t see it playing out that way … I can’t speak on all the speculative things that aren’t real. • Jets HC Aaron Glenn said he will speak with other coaches who have been in similar situations with their starting quarterbacks when asked who the starter will be: “I’m not running away from the question at all. Thing is, I want to make sure I make the right decision.” (Rich Cimini)
• Glenn was asked why they haven’t been able to get the best out of Fields: “That’s a good question and I think there’s blame to go around on a number of things when you look at that question. We have to continue to figure out, how do we put him in the best position to be successful? We also have to look at Justin; he has to execute.
