Kansas City now knows who it will play in the AFC Championship game.
The Kansas City Chiefs now know their opponent in the AFC Championship game: it’s the Buffalo Bills, who defeated the Baltimore Ravens 27-25 in their Divisional round game on Sunday evening.
The game is scheduled for Sunday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m. Arrowhead Time.
The Chiefs beat the Houston Texans in their Divisional round game on Saturday afternoon. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 177 yards and a touchdown to tight end Travis Kelce, who finished the game with seven catches for 117 yards.
The Chiefs played the Bills in Week 11 earlier this season. Kansas City lost the game, 30-21. The Bills were the only team in 2024 to beat Kansas City’s starters, ending what had been a 9-0 undefeated season. Cornerback Jaylen Watson was injured in the game, and Buffalo made a point to target his replacement en route to a 30-21 victory.
In their past seven meetings, the Bills have won every regular-season game, but the Chiefs have won every playoff game.
Kansas City is just two wins away from becoming the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive championships.
