What a week for the Eagles and pro wrestling. First, Big Dom and Cooper DeJean were booed Monday night at Madison Square Garden. Now, a wrestler used the Eagles to garner some heel heat during a pre-match promo.
All Elite Wrestling held their weekly edition of Dynamite from the Agganis Arena in Boston Wednesday night. Just before the show kicked off with a Ricochet vs. Bobby Lashley match, big Eagles fan Ricochet had some things he needed to get off his chest in front of the Boston crowd:
“OK, OK, so the first thing that I wanna say… is FLY EAGLES FLY on the road to victory, baby! Ha ha haaa! Whooo! I know y’all don’t remember what it’s like to win the Super Bowl. It’s been quite some time, but we riding high right now. We’re feeling real good.”
Can’t blame him.
This isn’t the first time Ricochet used the Eagles to garner heel heat. He was at the airport in Dallas back in October wearing an Eagles hat – and made sure everyone saw it – before cutting a promo on the Dallas Cowboys trash cans:
