Former NFL superstar Adrian Peterson got into a fistfight with a poker player following a dispute over the popular card game.

Peterson could get a rematch from the poker player he brawled with inside a Texas poker room in May. But this time, the fight might take place on Pay-Per-View instead of the JokerStars card room in Houston.

Joe Castaneda, who got into a fistfight with Peterson in May regarding a poker game, told TMZ Sports he would be willing to fight the Minnesota Vikings legend in a sanctioned boxing match.

“I wouldn’t shy away from it,” he said during the interview published Sunday. “That would be totally up to him.”

Now, his wish could come true.

Damon Feldman, the founder of Celebrity Boxing, is now willing to have Adrian Peterson and Joe Castaneda fight in the ring.

Feldman wants to create a real scrap between Adrian Peterson and Joe “Baby Joe” Castaneda after he saw the two fight over cards at a social club in Houston, Texas, in May.

“Let’s take that to the ring,” Feldman said in a video message to the guys.

“You can’t just battle it out on the street anymore — let’s take it to celebrity boxing.”

It remains to be seen if the guys will settle their differences in the ring.

Adrian Peterson Was Knocked Out The Last Time Inside the Boxing Ring

Adrian Peterson does have a boxing past, although not a very good one.

Back in 2022, the former Minnesota Vikings running back faced off against former NFL star Le’Veon Bell.

Bell sent Peterson to the canvas in the fifth round of their September 2022 exhibition.

The three-time Pro Bowler recalled landing the knockout blow, saying he didn’t think at the time he had hit Peterson that hard.

Peterson may have stopped boxing, but Bell would go on to fight twice more in boxing. He lost a unanimous decision to Uriah Hall in his professional debut in October 2022 but rebounded by winning a unanimous decision over YouTuber JMX.
