Cincy Jungle
After dropping to 3-6 on the season, all eyes are now squarely on whether the Bengals will make any moves to their staff or their roster this week. The trade deadline is Tuesday, November 4, at 4:00 PM ET. Who could be on the move, if anyone, for the Cincinnati Bengals?
There are a couple of players that everyone is speculating could be moved in exchange for draft capital. Logan Wilson has already seen his role drastically reduced. He didn’t play in the game this past weekend at all, allegedly due to injury. He recently requested a trade from the team.
Trey Hendrickson also requested a trade before receiving a reworked contract ahead of the start of the season. There was no clause in his contract that said the Bengals could not franchise tag him after the season. At this time, it is unknown what direction they would go with that.
Adam Schefter was on the Pat McAfee show earlier today, and he gave his thoughts on whether either of these players could be moved ahead of the trade deadline.
“Trey Hendrickson, if they traded him, and I’m not saying they will, there were teams last week that were told they weren’t,” Schefter said. “And people were wondering if they lost yesterday, which they did, would they reconsider and be willing to move off Trey Hendrickson?
“If they trade Trey, they could get back a pick, and they could save millions and make over $10 million, like, why would they not do that?”
Doesn’t sound like the Bengals are planning for any moves, as usual.
