The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense began the day looking very anemic, but got a break when Nick Herbig picked off a fourth-down pass from Sam Darnold and returned it to the Seahawks’ 21-yard line. The Steelers took advantage of the field position, capping off the first half with a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to DK Metcalf, serving as Metcalf’s first as a Steeler, and doing so against his former team.
The touchdown was historically significant, as well. With that touchdown, Rodgers ties Brett Favre for fourth all-time in touchdown passes (508).
The Steelers will start the second half with the ball, and can take control of the game with points.
