The Pittsburgh Steelers know that the 2025 NFL season will be crucial to the future of the franchise. Pittsburgh’s streak of consecutive winning seasons could come to an end this fall. If that happens, Mike Tomlin could be on the hot seat and change could come to the organization. Thankfully, the team’s most important player appears locked in.

Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers is hard at working with his new team weeks before NFL training camps begin in late July.

Rodgers posted a photo on Instagram on Wednesday showing himself with several of his Steelers teammates on a practice field. He tagged Proactive Sports Performance in the post.

Rodgers appeared with most of his new pass catchers, including DK Metcalf, Pat Freiermuth, Roman Wilson, Ben Skowronek, Calvin Austin III, and Scotty Miller. Former Packers tackle David Bakhtiari was also in the photo.

“Summerball” is all Rodgers captioned the photos with.

It will be interesting to see what kind of chemistry Rodgers has with his receivers when training camp kicks off later this month.

Peyton Manning compares Aaron Rodgers’ Steelers signing to his Broncos run, Tom Brady in Tampa

Hype is building around Rodgers and the Steelers ahead of the 2025 NFL season.

Legendary quarterback Peyton Manning gave Rodgers some credit during a recent interview on The Pat McAfee Show. Manning compared Rodgers’ signing in Pittsburgh with his time in Denver and Brady’s stint in Tampa Bay.

“Look there’s no substitute for experience and what Aaron can do to help these receivers and you wouldn’t think that would take a lot of time for them to kind of get on the same page just because Aaron’s played with so many guys and kind of knows how to make those adjustments,” Manning explained.

Manning seems hopeful that Rodgers will get his redemption story, which was supposed to happen with the Jets.

“It’s a big change, I know Aaron did it with the Jets, and got hurt and what not. And maybe not what he was hoping for,” Manning added. “So hopefully this is a good chapter for him, and can finish strong if it is his last year. I know Tom just talked about going down to Tampa, and that was exciting. It was kind of new, going to a new school. And I felt that way when I went to Denver. So it could be kind of invigorating for a quarterback.”

Steelers fans are equally hopeful for a big season from Rodgers.
