The Pittsburgh Steelers face the Miami Dolphins in a must-win matchup on Monday Night Football. Pittsburgh hopes to maintain its lead over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North. And Aaron Rodgers is delivering for the Steelers in the pivotal Week 15 clash.

Rodgers has dissected the Dolphins, leading Pittsburgh to a 28-15 lead late in the fourth quarter. The four-time MVP tossed two touchdowns in the second half, with 19- and 28-yard scoring strikes.

Rodgers’ second TD on Monday night was particularly noteworthy. The 21-year veteran has now thrown multiple touchdown passes in 166 games. Rodgers surpassed Peyton Manning for the third-most multi-TD games in NFL history, per ESPN Insights. Only Tom Brady (204) and Drew Brees (173) are ahead of him on the all-time list.

Aaron Rodgers notches another multi-touchdown game

Rodgers was happy to learn he wasn’t the oldest player in the league anymore with Philip Rivers returning. After five years away from football, Rivers un-retired to help save the Colts’ season.

While the 44-year-old Rivers fell just short of an upset win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, the 42-year-old Rodgers has seemingly discovered the fountain of youth. The Steelers QB looked spry with a rushing touchdown in Week 14, leading Pittsburgh to a huge win over the Ravens. And he’s been excellent again on Monday night.

Pittsburgh needs Rodgers to continue playing at a high level down the stretch. The Steelers’ playoff odds improved with last week’s win. But the team will only reach the postseason by winning the division. And a massive matchup awaits in Week 18 when Pittsburgh hosts Baltimore. The season finale could determine the winner of the AFC North.
