The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting set for their second preseason game, and their lone home preseason game, of the exhibition slate. They will be taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as host the Bucs for joint practices ahead of the game.
Many wondered if this week would be when we saw Aaron Rodgers and other stars take the field for the first time in 2025, but Mike Tomlin has put that to rest. Speaking to the media, Tomlin says that the same stars who didn’t play in Week 1 also won’t play in Week 2, which means the following players will be out:
The joint practices will at least allow the newest Steelers to get some work in against another team, which some players and coaches say does more than a preseason game due to teams showing a bit more in joint practices.
