A recent survey conducted by The Action Network reveals that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been voted as the most annoying player in the NFL, taking 24% of the overall vote. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is right behind Rodgers at 17%.
21 out of 32 NFL fan bases declared Rodgers as the most annoying player in a survey of over 3,000 NFL fans based in the U.S.
The top five fan bases who found Rodgers the most annoying are the Minnesota Vikings (43.4%), Green Bay Packers (42.9%), Chicago Bears (38%), Denver Broncos (33.8%) and New England Patriots (32.4%). Rodgers and the Steelers play against Minnesota, Green Bay and Chicago in 2025.
For sure, Rodgers isn’t afraid to speak his mind and his opinions can rub some people the wrong way. However, when it comes to being a teammate, Rodgers has been fantastic in Pittsburgh so far.
Rodgers revealed earlier this month that he has an open door policy with his teammates.
“It’s not all X’s and O’s,” Rodgers said. “It’s storytelling from time to time, but [Smith’s] not a rigid guy at all. Any ideas I have or the receivers have, he really appreciates it. We’ve installed stuff I’ve looked at or other guys have had similar ideas. I have an open forum in my room. Anytime you want to come in and suggest something, let me know and I’ll take it right to Art. I’ve just really enjoyed him as a person a lot and the way he leads in front of a room. It’s been a lot of fun so far.”
Rodgers wants a constant flow of communication. He wants nothing unsaid.
“I think that’s an important part of it,” Rodgers said. “There’s no dictatorship here. We want to talk about all the issues, whether it’s in a text message or coming into my room. I don’t want anything to be left unsaid. It’s been a good process for us.”
New York Jets running back Breece Hall also said on the Da Get Got Pod with Marshawn Lynch and Mike Robinson this offseason that the four-time NFL MVP was phenomenal in New York.
“Very misunderstood person,” Hall said. “Great dude, comes off to people a certain way. But once you really get to know him, you realize how good of a person he is. Last year, when you’re losing games, the blame gets put on the faces of the team, and it just so happened to be guys like me, Sauce [Gardner], Garrett [Wilson], Aaron [Rodgers], Quinnen [Williams], and Quincy [Williams].
“I feel like when you’re losing, somebody has to get let go — but what people don’t realize is when stuff is crazy organizationally, then it’s hard for players to have stability and win games. … But I love Aaron. Me and him still have a great relationship to this day. That’s my guy.”
