Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers can become one of five quarterbacks in NFL history to beat all 32 teams with a win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 8 at Acrisure Stadium. It will be Rodgers’ first meeting against his former team since departing Green Bay after the 2022 season.

The storylines for the Steelers-Packers showdown on Sunday Night Football will be endless.

With a win over the Packers, Rodgers will join Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Drew Brees on the all-time list of QBs to beat all 32 NFL teams.

Rodgers is on the verge of breaking several NFL milestones in his 21st season. He needs just 1,337 passing yards to surpass Ben Roethlisberger for the fifth-most all-time, and needs six passing touchdowns to surpass Brett Favre for fourth-most all-time.

The Steelers will start their fifth different quarterback in Week 1 since 2021. Ben Roethlisberger (2021), Mitch Trubisky (2022), Kenny Pickett (2023), Justin Fields (2024) and now Rodgers in 2025.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Mike Tomlin was the driving force in Rodgers landing with the Steelers.

“Steelers never wavered in their belief that Aaron Rodgers eventually would sign with Pittsburgh. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin loomed large in this entire situation. Tomlin was a drawing card for Rodgers, and was happy to work within Rodgers’ timeline. He is a major reason that Rodgers will be a Steeler,” Schefter wrote on X.

Team president Art Rooney II revealed that the Steelers will wear new alternate uniforms and a new alternate helmet against the Packers in Week 8.

“We are going to have a new throwback uniform this year, and with a new helmet to go with it,” Rooney said in his statement released on the Steelers’ official website.

“We’re planning to wear our new throwbacks for the Packers game on Sunday night, Oct. 26. It’ll be fun to wear our throwbacks against one of the older franchises in the league – that just seems to be appropriate. We’ll be doing our Color Rush uniforms late in the year. I think we’re going to do it for the Monday night game on Dec. 15 against the Miami Dolphins.”
