Aaron Rodgers will not return to the New York Jets next season. The 41-year-old quarterback will be a free agent in exactly 31 days who is eligible to sign with any team in the NFL.
The organization informed him of its decision after he flew to New Jersey to meet with the organization last week.
Rodgers has yet to officially announce if he is going to play another year in the National Football League. However, his trip back to the Meadowlands to discuss his future seemed to indicate that he would like to return for a 21st season. This new development might change his mind. We’ll see.
Jay Glazar of Fox Sports first reported the news while at the Super Bowl in New Orleans.
