Aaron Rodgers has had a massive 2025 so far. The veteran quarterback is set to play his first season with a new team, while he also claims to be a newlywed husband.

Curiously enough, his family isn’t so sure about that last part.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, which cites an insider, “the family is unconvinced the marriage is real,” and believes Rodgers “may have had a symbolic ‘commitment ceremony’ instead of a legally binding wedding.”

The 41-year-old recently revealed he’s been married for “a couple of months,” having previously claimed to be in a relationship with a woman named “Brittany.”

The report claims that Rodgers, who was photographed wearing what appeared to be a black wedding band while signing his contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, did not inform family members about a wedding. It adds that his younger brother Jordan Rodgers and sister-in-law JoJo Fletcher do not know anything about Brittani, while no one has ever seen her.

“Jordan and JoJo didn’t go to the wedding and don’t even know anything really about Brittani,” it reads.

“What they’ve heard is secondhand from his parents [Ed and Darla Rodgers].”

Aaron Rodgers Caught His Family “Off Guard”

Rodgers isn’t on great terms with his family and is said to have caught them “off guard” with his marriage claims.

While he insists he’s married, a clerk in his new Pennsylvania county and other clerks in Las Vegas share that “public records show no trace of a legal marriage” as of Monday.

Rodgers has been up-front and very public with past relationships, but is keeping his current coupling under wraps for some reason.

It appears his family will be treating the validity of his marriage just like his previous COVID-19 immunization claims until they see some proof.
