Aaron Rodgers’ wife has never been publicly identified, and no one has any information on her, yet he brought her up again while speaking to reporters this week.
Rodgers is contemplating retirement, something he says he must discuss with his wife. And, having said earlier this year that he was pretty sure this season would be his last, it appears he’s decided to leave the door open.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback could play his final NFL game this Sunday. The Steelers are set for a win-or-go-home matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. The winner takes the AFC North; the loser will be eliminated from playoff contention.
Rodgers and the Steelers were accused of prioritizing Myles Garrett’s sack record over a win when they played the Cleveland Browns in Week 17. That did not prevent Garrett from putting the QB in a body bag. Cameras also caught Rodgers’ interaction with Shedeur Sanders post-defeat.
Should Pittsburgh lose on Sunday, the fixture could mark a swansong for Rodgers. However, he implied that he could return next year while speaking to reporters this week.
“I don’t really want to get too deep into it, you know? Obviously, I’ll talk to my wife and then, you know, hopefully that’s a decision down the line, but I’m not really going to talk about anything,” he said.
Rodgers has been wearing a wedding ring for close to a year now. He revealed back in June that he had gotten married a few months prior. Close family members claimed to know nothing about his spouse.
The 42-year-old had previously revealed that he was in a relationship with someone named Brittani.
Meanwhile, Rodgers has had a splendid time with the Steelers and claims his experience was better than he expected. He also hopes to have some offers on the table should he choose to continue playing.
“I’m thinking about this week, but obviously I’m 42 years old and I’m on a one-year deal,” he said. “So you know what the situation is. Whenever the season ends, I’ll be a free agent. So that’ll give me a lot of options if I still want to play. I mean, not a lot of options, but there’ll be options, I would think, maybe one or two, if I decide I still want to play.”

The Steelers will face the Ravens in a highly anticipated ‘Sunday Night Football’ matchup. However, fans are still not thrilled about the scheduling.
