Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has the chance to pass Ben Roethlisberger on an all-time list.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have the chance to add to their already comfortable lead in the AFC North against the Cincinnati. Bengals on Thursday night. However, the game could also mean a little bit more for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers has the chance to surpass former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on the all-time passing yardage list with 116 yards against the Bengals in Week 7.

When Roethlisberger retired at the end of the 2021 season, he had 64,088 passing yards — an impressive mark through 249 games.

Meanwhile, Rodgers currently sits at 63,973 passing yards in 253 games. It has taken him a little bit longer to reach the milestone, but it’s safe to say he’ll leapfrog Roethlisberger into fifth place all time, and he could do it as soon as Thursday night.

Rodgers has been averaging 204 passing yards per game and Cincinnati’s defense is currently allowing the second-most passing yards per game (258.5) in the league. That sets up Rodgers to easily hit the 116-yard mark.

It’s a big moment for the 41-year-old because he revealed the 2025 season will likely be his last this offseason. If that is true, No. 5 will be the highest he will climb on the all-time passing yardage list.

Rodgers’ former Green Bay Packers teammate Brett Favre sits at No. 4 with 71,838 yards, which is 7,895 yards ahead of Rodgers.

Former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has the all-time record with 89,214 yards. The second-closest player is former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees with 80,358 yards.

Nonetheless, Thursday night could be an historic one for Rodgers and the Steelers.
