Aaron Rodgers is as divisive as they come these days, and he proved it once again with the showdown with a fan.
Rodgers signed a number of autographs at the American Century Championship, but refused one request.
There are true autograph seekers and dudes who are just looking to flip an autograph for money. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was sure he saw one in person.
Rodgers clearly thought he was dealing with one when a “fan” asked him for an autograph while Rodgers took part in the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament this week.
Aaron Rodgers tested the guy’s knowledge by asking the autograph seeker a question about the ticket the guy wanted the future Hall of Fame quarterback to sign.
The ticket was from a game Rodgers played earlier in his career, and the autograph seeker claimed he was at the game, which is why he was in possession of it.
However, once the fan couldn’t correctly recall the game’s final score, Rodgers, who labeled him an “autograph hound,” denied the request.

The dejected fan insisted he was really at the game, but Rodgers wasn’t buying it.
Aaron Rodgers isn’t the only athlete who doesn’t like this type of person.
Some athletes have even turned to a kids-only policy, although some “autograph hounds” have been accused of using kids to get what they want.
It seems like Aaron Rodgers is done after this season.
The four-time NFL MVP, who recently signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, told The Pat McAfee Show that he is “pretty sure” the upcoming 2025 campaign will be the last season of his career.
“Yeah, I’m pretty sure this is it,” he acknowledged. “That’s why we just did a one-year deal.”
