Mile High Report
When you’re a contender, you do whatever you can to stay on top.
And Broncos fans are feeling so good about this team — 97% believe it is heading in the right direction — that many believe there is potential for competing to win the AFC West and make some noise in the playoffs.
Thinking the Broncos are a Super Bowl contender at this point is a little optimistic — in my opinion — but it’s not hard to believe that with some luck and better refs, there is a chance to go deep into the playoffs.
For those reasons, 58% of Broncos Country thinks this team may want to shore up some players before the trade deadline.
The question of the day, then, is which players should the Broncos be buying? A guard to fill in for Ben Powers, who is out for significant time with a biceps injury?
Another Wide receiver? There were rumors earlier this week that wideouts were connected to Denver, but perhaps Sean Payton is feeling confident with the young room after Sunday’s performance.
So far the only move was adding a blocking tight end to the practice squad (for now), but never say never with tight ends and Payton.
