How did it all start for these two teams?
The New Orleans Saints (4-7) are back home in the dome again this week to face the Los Angeles Rams (5-6) on Sunday afternoon in the Caesars Superdome.
They first played one another back on September 17th, 1967, when the Rams defeated the Saints 27-13 in Tulane Stadium. This Sunday will be the 77th time that these two franchises will face one another with the Rams leading the series 44-35. Their most famous matchup was in the NFC Championship game on January 20th, 2019, when one of the most egregious mistakes ever made by NFL officials cost the Saints a 2nd trip to the Super Bowl.
Their last matchup was on December 21st, 2023, in SoFi Stadium which saw LA defeat New Orleans 30-22.
Kickoff is at 3:05pm and the game will be broadcast on FOX with Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Jonathan Vilma (color analyst) and Megan Olivi (sideline)
