The NFL trade deadline is on Tuesday, November 4, at 3:00 p.m. CT, and earlier this week, we asked Chicago Bears fans if they want the Bears to buy, sell, or stand pat. Chicago’s three games before the deadline are the (1-5) New Orleans Saints this Sunday, the (1-5) Baltimore Ravens, and the (3-4) Cincinnati Bengals. With the Bears coming off their third win in a row, fans are hungry to support a winner, and 60% of you want them to buy.

This weekend, the Bears are favored against the Saints, the Ravens will be getting Lamar Jackson back, making them much better than a one-win team, and the Bengals are different now that they’ve traded for Joe Flacco.

What better way to give the franchise a boost for the 2025 season than by acquiring a player before the deadline?

But who’s out there who could make a difference?

All the rumors floating around are just that, rumors. There haven’t been any players given permission to seek a trade, and no teams have come out publicly in shopping a player.

If the Bears were looking, they’d probably be looking for help on the defensive line or a veteran option at running back. Some of the defensive names rumored to be available are Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson, Miami EDGE Bradley Chubb, and his teammate Jaelan Phillips. Tennessee tailback Tony Pollard could be available, as could Jets running back Breece Hall, or Cleveland’s Jerome Ford.

If the Bears were to trade one of their 2026 draft picks, they currently have their own selection in all seven rounds but the fourth; however, they hold the Rams ‘ fourth-rounder from a 2025 draft-day trade. They sent their 2026 fourth to the Chiefs for Joe Thuney.

You can count me among the 32% of fans who would rather see the Bears do nothing at the deadline, but I won’t complain if they flip a day three pick for an established veteran.

The other part of our Reacts survey was the weekly confidence question, and following the exciting Monday night win over the Washington Commanders, 96% of our fans are feeling confident in where this team is headed.
