For Kansas City’s Sunday session, one player got back on the field.
In the Kansas City Chiefs’ 11th training camp session at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph on Sunday morning — a lighter full practice in shells — a total of six players were held out.
Cornerback Kristian Fulton (knee) — who remains on the team’s Active/PUP (physically-unable-to-perform) list — was among them. He has missed every training camp workout. Tight end Jake Briningstool missed his seventh straight day. Safety Deon Bush (hamstring) has now extended his string to five days. Wide receiver Hollywood Brown (ankle) missed out on his fourth day, while linebacker Drue Tranquill (back) and tight end Jared Wiley (hamstring) missed their second days of practice.
Wide receiver Skyy Moore was back at work — but later, he was spotted working with trainers. So we’ll call him limited in Sunday’s work.
With both Briningstool and Wiley out, undrafted rookie tight end Tre Watson turned in a good practice. So did wide receiver Jason Brownlee.
No other injuries were reported in Sunday’s session.
