Again, it’ll be Kendrick Lamar doing the halftime show this year. This is his first headlining Super Bowl halftime performance, but he’s appeared on the stage before alongside Dr. Dre in 2022.
Lamar is one of the best rappers out there today. He’s a 22-time Grammy award-winning artist and 57 nominations. He’s also got multiple albums people would consider “classics.” He even won a Pulitzer prize for DAMN. in 2017.
The reason he’s on the stage at the Super Bowl this year, though, is undoubtedly his beef with Drake.
He released the hit song Not Like Us this year, and it won five Grammys on its own.
Despite the legal controversy surrounding the song behind accusations he hurled at Drake, Lamar is reportedly set to play Not Like Us during the halftime show.
It may be censored on the broadcast, however, according to NFR Podcast.

We’re not totally sure yet, but Apple Music has used SZA in the promotion of the halftime show. She seems like a likely candidate for a potential feature.
