5 biggest questions for the Lions before training camp

Meko and Morgan are back on the Pride of Detroit YouTube Channel, breaking down some of the biggest questions for the Detroit Lions ahead of training camp.

With rookies reporting earlier in the week and veterans on Saturday, the Detroit Lions are getting closer to training camp kicking off in Allen Park. Expectations are sky-high for the Lions once again, with many around the country labeling them championship contenders in 2025.

With that said, there are still a few questions to sort out before Week 1 of the regular season rolls around. To discuss a few of those questions before next week, myself and my good friend Meko Scott are back over on the Pride of Detroit YouTube Channel.

We weigh in on the interior-offensive line situation, and whether we think it makes sense for Detroit to throw rookie Tate Ratledge into the deep end right away. We also give our predictions on what first-round draft pick Tyleik Williams’ role will be early in 2025, and how we see him being utilized between the one and three technique spots on the defensive line.

From there, we jump into what second-year cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr.’s role might be in 2025 with such a deep secondary, and whether or not we believe it is, “do-or-die,” time for a few developmental players such as offensive lineman Colby Sorsdal, and defensive tackle Brodric Martin.

What are you most looking forward to having answered once training camp gets rolling? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
