Kendrick Bourne had multiple things to play for on Saturday.
The No. 1 seed and the NFC West title were on the line for the San Francisco 49ers when they played Seattle. For the 49ers, it represented a chance to get the coveted first-round bye in the playoffs and get home-field advantage.
Multiple wide receivers also had the chance to see some extra cash come their way in the form of incentives. A few weeks ago, wideout Kendrick Bourne cashed in on a $500,000 bonus for hitting 500 receiving yards against the Indianapolis Colts. He exposed his own wife for being expensive after the incentive was hit.
Before kick-off, fans were left shocked to see the 49ers wideout engaging in a bizarre sideline interaction. A video emerged of him in conversation with his wife, Vanessa, and another person. That person handed him a large sum of money. That money was seen inside his helmet before he eventually headed back to the locker room.

A zoomed-in shot of the cash showed that it was a stack of one-dollar bills.
49ers star wideout Kendrick Bourne sat at 551 receiving yards after adding 25 yards last weekend against the Chicago Bears.
He had another chance to add to his bankroll in Week 18. Bourne needed to reach 600 receiving yards; if he gained 41 yards against Seattle, he would claim another $250,000 bonus.
Kendrick was also eight catches away from hitting 45 catches on the year. That would secure a $500,000 incentive. He would not get anywhere close.
Kendrick Bourne had one target all game long against Seattle. He ended the day with zero catches and zero yards, per ESPN. His team lost, and he lost out on huge sums of money.
