Niners Nation
We have a Week 5 rematch between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. The 49ers were victors on the road, thanks to some heroics from Alfred Collins and timely defensive stops.
This time around, the 49ers won’t have Collins. Nor will they have Fred Warner. Robert Saleh will have his hands full against one of the most potent offenses in the NFL. The defense wasn’t on the field much last game, which made it seem like they played better than what happened on the field.
The truth is, if Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, and Davante Adams have a few more cracks at it against a Niners defense that allowed 24 points to the New York Giants, it’s easy to see a Sean McVay-led offense score north of 30.
How can the offense save the day? What does Kyle Shanahan have up his sleeve? George Kittle didn’t play last time, when Kendrick Bourne did the heavy-lifting. Could we see a game plan that is centered around a Hall of Fame tight end?
