The San Francisco 49ers have a joint practice on Thursday morning with the Las Vegas Raiders. The team announced more roster moves ahead of practice. Andre Dillard, who signed this summer to compete for the swing-tackle job with Spencer Burford and Austen Pleasants, was placed on the Injured Reserve. Dillard was recently activated from the PUP list after having offseason surgery on his ankle. However, Dillard did not last a week, and now his season is over before it begins. Dillard is the second 49ers player in as many days to land on the IR.

The team officially announced the signing of William Bradley-King and Demone Harris, a pair of defensive linemen the team worked out on Wednesday. The 49ers’ continued pursuit of defensive linemen suggests that Yetur Gross-Matos may not be as close to returning from injury as initially thought. They’re also dealing with injuries to other players along the line. It’s wise to take it slow with Mykel Williams, so that’s why we’re seeing multiple players signed.

By signing two players and placing one on the Injured Reserve, the 49ers needed to make another roster move. Michael Dwumfour, another recent signing, was waived.
