As the Kansas City Chiefs walked down the hill to their practice field at St. Joseph’s Missouri Western State University for their 16th training camp session on Tuesday morning, a new teammate was there to join them.
Before practice began, the team signed former Washington Commanders running back Michael Wiley, pushing the 90-man offseason roster back to full strength.
Four players were held out of the session. Tight end Jake Briningstool (hamstring) missed his 12th day of practice. Wide receiver Hollywood Brown (ankle) has now recorded eight days out. As he recovers from surgery, tackle Ethan Driskell (appendectomy) missed his second day — as did cornerback Jaylen Watson (concussion), who remains in the NFL concussion protocol. Watson was present, but watched from the sidelines.
Safety Deon Bush (Achilles) and defensive end Janarious Robinson (broken foot) were placed on the team’s Reserve/Injured list on Monday.
No additional injuries were observed during Tuesday’s practice.
