3 NFL Teams Reportedly Eager for Von Miller’s Services

Von Miller isn’t ready to call it quits. Not yet. At 36, most pass rushers either do TV hits or fish somewhere quiet. Miller? He’s still training, believing, and waiting for that next shot. And if you believe his agent, Joby Branion, three NFL teams are circling with genuine interest.

According to NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger, three teams are “very interested” in Miller.

That word came straight from Branion, who shared the update during a recent conversation with Baldinger. “I think Von feels like there’s a pretty good chance he’s going to sign some point either before camp or- I mean, I don’t think Von’s too crazy about going to training camp,” Baldinger told the DNVR Broncos podcast. “Most guys that age aren’t. They know what they need to do.”

Von Miller Still Drawing Real NFL Interest

Sure, Miller hasn’t looked like his old self lately. He went sackless in 2023 despite appearing in 12 games. But in 2024, he made a comeback with six sacks in 13 games. Not good numbers, but not bad either.

The veteran edge rusher hasn’t made a Pro Bowl since 2019 and hasn’t hit double-digit sacks since 2018. But it’s not like he’s been sitting around. Between 2021 and 2022, he totaled 17.5 sacks while bouncing between three teams and even picked up another Super Bowl ring in the process.

Miller is not in the form he once was. But if you plug him into the right role—rotational pass rusher, situation-based guy—he could still be useful, especially for a contender with a strong front seven already in place.

That’s the big question, though: which teams are sniffing around? Branion didn’t name names, which leaves everyone guessing. Are these genuine contenders eyeing Miller for a playoff push? Or are we discussing rebuilding teams looking for a spark and a veteran locker room voice?

Miller seems content to wait. He’s not interested in the grind of training camp; frankly, he’s earned that luxury. “He looks in great shape,” Baldinger noted. “So, I would say he’s going to get signed here relatively soon.”

Now it’s just a matter of when the phone rings, and if the offer’s good enough to get Von back on the field. Someone out there still believes in No. 40. Maybe even three someones.
