Steelers Now Steelers Now

Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it’s trying to rank the quarterbacks in the 2026 NFL Draft class.

Which, of course, is a fool’s errand. The NFL teams that will spend millions of dollars between now and next April attempting to do that have a 100% chance of getting it wrong. So who cares what anyone thinks now?

Arch Manning is probably the prospect in the class with the highest upside, but it’s a real question as to whether he’ll even come out. You can make good arguments for an against the likes of LaNorris Sellers, Drew Allar, Cade Klubnik, Fernando Mendoza, Garrett Nussmeier and Nico Iamaleava, and there are plenty more that could play their way into that conversation.

The real question isn’t who’s best, it’s who will be available when the Steelers are on the clock — or how far up they’ll have to go to get a franchise quarterback.

Alan breaks it down.
