With the Pittsburgh Steelers in the market for a quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft, Steelers Now will be taking stock of the draft class every week of the 2025 college football season. Week four saw top prospects be tested, others bounce back.
After a good week one, Sellers has been subject to a struggling offensive line. It got to the point he was knocked out of week three with a concussion. Week four, however, Sellers made big plays against a ranked opponent.
Despite the loss, Sellers looked every bit of what the 2024 Sellers looked like. Erratic at some moments, but the arm and ability to make plays with his legs were on full display. He very nearly converted a 3rd and 37 in the third quarter.

Sellers overall wasn’t having a great season thus far, but week four showed why he is one of the top prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft. Perhaps the Steelers could find themselves making moves in April to be in position to select him.

Mendoza was surgical. In the first half he led Indiana to a 35-10 halftime lead. The Hoosiers didn’t look back as he threw more touchdowns (five) than incompletions (two.) Needless to say, Mendoza made a statement Saturday night against the 9th ranked team in the nation.
Steelers Now has reported on Mendoza’s rising stock previously. However, after this week Mendoza might have positioned himself much higher on multiple draft boards–including the Steelers.

While Dampier isn’t a hot name going into this season, he was having a good season going into week four. Utah was ranked going against Texas Tech. The afternoon proved to not belong to the Utes.
Dampier threw two interceptions after not throwing one through the first three weeks. He did not record a touchdown pass either. Finally, he averaged only 4.3 yards per passing attempt and did not eclipse 200 yards.
