2026 NFL Draft QB Stock Report Week 11: Simpson Out-Duels Nussmeier, Two New Risers
Steelers Now Steelers Now

With the Pittsburgh Steelers in the market for a quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft, Steelers Now will be taking stock of the draft class every week of the 2025 college football season.

STOCK DOWN: Dante Moore, Oregon

One of college football’s biggest surprises has been the play of Moore. The first five weeks were electric and included a thrilling overtime victory at Penn State. Since then, things haven’t been as electric.

On Saturday, Moore was underwhelming at Iowa. While the venue is a tough place to play, if you take away the Rutgers game two weeks earlier, Moore has thrown one touchdown since that OT victory.

Moore’s talent is more than enough to keep Oregon’s offense churning. Their upcoming games include USC and a road trip to Washington–both ranked opponents. He will be under the microscope to see if there is a significant bounce back in his game.

STOCK UP: Marcel Reed, Texas A&M

The Texas A&M Aggies rank third in college football. A big part of that is the play of Reed. Though his frame leaves some concern, he has shown he can play with the big boys of the SEC.

On Saturday, Reed and the Aggies dropped 38 on the 22nd ranked Missouri Tigers on the road. The win finished their third consecutive road game where Reed finished with seven passing touchdowns, three rushing touchdowns, and 703 yards passing.

By far this has been the most challenging part of TAMU’s schedule so far. In three weeks they will face a Texas team that suddenly has a strong pulse. Can Reed propel himself into the draft talks en route to a playoff appearance?

STOCK DOWN: Carson Beck, Miami (FL)

Ever since the Louisville game, Beck hasn’t looked as strong as he did earlier in the season. Despite a decisive win for Miami on Saturday, Beck didn’t exactly light up the stat sheet.

In the first five games of the season, the Hurricanes were 5-0 with Beck throwing 11 touchdown to only three interception. In the last four games, they are 2-2 with Beck throwing four touchdowns and six interceptions. What started as a promising season has quickly turned into a downward spiral.

What might be more concerning is the fact that Beck’s medicals could tank his stock. After recovering from a torn UCL, things started off well. Based on how things have trended, could his elbow be causing issues?...
