With the Pittsburgh Steelers in the market for a quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft, Steelers Now will be taking stock of the draft class every week of the 2025 college football season.

STOCK UP: Arch Manning, Texas
A late season surge for the NFL family prodigy? Maybe things are turning around for the nephew and grandson of three NFL quarterbacks. After an uptick performance against Mississippi State, despite the injury suffered, momentum carried through week 10.
Manning and the unranked Texas Longhorns hosted ninth-ranked Vanderbilt. Though Vanderbilt showed Texas why they are a top-10 team, Manning showed why he was a preseason favorite. Maybe even THE preseason favorite.
The sophomore threw three touchdowns, 328 yards, and completed nearly 80% of his passes. A few weeks ago it looked like 2026 was off the board. With three games left and the SEC title game still within reach, could Manning lead Texas to the postseason after all?
Manning will have to win in Georgia and at home against Texas A&M to give them a chance. However, these last two weeks could spark optimism in a once uncertain football program.

STOCK UP: Conner Weigman, Houston
At one point in the 2024 preseason, Weigman was seen as a potential 2025 first-round pick. At that time, he played at Texas A&M. Needless to say, things didn’t pan out as he was eventually benched against LSU.
Conner Weigman runs to the left and takes it in for a 1-yard touchdown.
Fans not happy about the officiating here this evening.

Fast forward and he is now having a good season with Houston. The Cougars are ranked 22nd thanks to a 12 touchdown to two interception performance going into week 10.
Saturday they hosted West Virginia and it was an opportunity to help his stock. While he isn’t necessarily in the “first-round” talks, he could help himself to being in a draftable position come April.
Despite the loss, Weigman kept his team in the game after falling behind early. He threw four touchdowns, 309 yards, but also threw two picks. Though the turnovers are less than ideal, could his projections begin to rise as the draft class seems to thin out?

Similar to other quarterbacks this season, Leavitt suffered an injury that will knock him out multiple games. Unfortunately, this case is...
