We are not officially halfway through the 2025 NFL season (with a 17-game schedule, I guess that would be sometime midweek between Week 8 and Week 9?), but the 2026 NFL draft is now the primary focus for Cleveland Browns fans. That and whether or not HC Kevin Stefanski and/or GM Andrew Berry will be fired, along with questions about if/when QB Shedeur Sanders will take over for QB Dillon Gabriel.

With little to play for, despite a very down AFC North this year, Browns fans are left to focus on what could be, what might be, and what they hope for.

Following Sunday’s action, Cleveland was slotted to select fourth with their pick in the 2026 NFL draft while acquiring the Jacksonville Jaguars selection, which was slotted 20th on Monday morning. With the Kansas City Chiefs picking up a convincing win over the Washington Commanders, the pick going to the Browns from the Jaguars has moved up two spots, while the Commanders only moved up one:

  6. New York Giants

Not only did Kansas City’s victory move Jacksonville’s selection up, it also knocked the Jaguars out of the final playoff spot, for now, in the AFC.

Cleveland fans are experienced in following how the NFL draft order changes from week to week. This year, Browns fans are also fans of every team that plays Jacksonville as well, and are tracking where two first-round picks are slotted each week.
