Cleveland is back in the market for a quarterback and the No. 1 overall pick may be a player to watch this fall.

The Cleveland Browns will open training camp in late July with several questions to answer before the 2025 season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.

It will be a while before we know the definitive answers to those questions, but judging from Pro Football & Sports Network’s latest three-round 2026 Mock Draft from Joe DeLeone, the Browns will still be facing some of the same questions next spring.

Cleveland has two first-round selections in next year’s draft - their own and one from the Jacksonville Jaguars - and DeLeone is not confident in this year’s squad as he has Cleveland selecting Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall selection:

The 6-foot-5 and 225-pound Mendoza will be playing for the Hoosiers after transferring from Cal, where he threw for 3,004 yards, 16 touchdowns, and just six interceptions. He may not be top-of-mind when fans think of the top college quarterback this fall, but if he puts up a big season, he will be getting a lot of attention come the draft.

The 6-foot-5 and 266-pound Dennis-Sutton is returning to Penn State for one more year. He missed part of last season with a lower-body injury but still finished second on the team with 8.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss. Dennis-Sutton had a nice run through the college football playoffs, finishing with 16 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and an interception.

Moving into the second round, the Browns are projected to select Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor, and then open...
