Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season takes center stage with a handful of late afternoon games today. The New York Jets played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an early afternoon game this week.
Perhaps the best matchup among the late afternoon games this week has the undefeated 2-0 Los Angeles Chargers at home hosting the 1-1 Denver Broncos in an early battle for first place in the AFC East division.
Elsewhere there are just three other late afternoon games on tap this weekend. The 1-1 Seattle Seahawks host the 0-2 New Orleans Saints; the 0-2 Chicago Bears host the 1-1 Dallas Cowboys; and the 2-0 San Francisco 49ers host the 2-0 Arizona Cardinals in an early battle for NFC West supremacy.
