The top college football prospects are in Indianapolis this week for the NFL’s annual combine. Here are the details on the event.
This week is the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Do you like watching athletes jump high, run fast, and repeatedly lift heavy things? Then I have just the event for you to watch while you suffer through NFL withdrawal. As always, draft stock will be reaffirmed, rise, or fall based on what happens over the next several days between drills, interviews, and medical reports. Mock drafts will soon need adjusting once the combine is over.
Unlike last season, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald will join John Schneider at the NFL Combine. Macdonald was hired late in the 2024 coaching cycle and thus focused on implementing his offseason program over the combine, but that won’t be the case this year! He’s already attended the Senior Bowl and will now have these duties for the first time.
The combine runs from Monday, Feb. 24 through Sunday, March 2. Here are some other key dates and facts you must know:
Select general managers and head coaches: Tuesday, Feb. 25 (7 am PT to 3:30 pm PT) and Wednesday, Feb. 26 (10 am PT to 3:30 pm PT)
General manager John Schneider: Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 10 am PT
Head coach Mike Macdonald: Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 10 am PT
There will be positional specific drills but the seven listed are the highlights of the NFL Combine. If you want a live tracker of all of the Scouting Combine results, click here for up-to-the-minute information!
An astonishing 329 players received Combine invites, with the national champion Ohio State Buckeyes leading the way among all schools with 15. It should be noted that not every invited player will participate in drills. Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, for example, will not throw at the Combine.
